No. It just means we don't have a matching inspection record, almost always because the restaurant is outside a city we currently cover. It says nothing about the restaurant's quality or safety.
We only show inspection scores where a city or county publishes them through an official open-data source. We currently cover Atlanta (Fulton County), Austin, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle (King County), and we're adding more. Search still works everywhere.
Grades come straight from official government sources and refresh on a schedule. If a value looks off, it may not yet be published at the source. You can always confirm with the restaurant or the local health department — and feel free to email us so we can check the data feed.
Open the app and adjust alerts in your profile, or manage them from your device's notification settings.
Open the app, go to Pro, and choose "Restore purchases." Purchases restore across devices signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account.
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account and confirm the two-step prompt. This removes your account and associated data. You can also email us to request deletion.
Want your city added, or have an idea? Email support@nearlyeaten.com — reports of new open-data sources are especially welcome.
